Pacific Tsunami Warning Status for March 11, 2011

San Diego is under a Tsunami Warning for a wave of 1ft - 3ft. The possible initial wave is expected between 08:00 and 09:00 US/Pacific time today. Our SDTC data center is over 200ft above sea-level and our LWDC and OWB locations are over 400ft above sea-level. All facilities have emergency power backup systems and multiple diverse network paths. No local impact to our operations is expected.

Can't reach my servers or m5hosting.com right now (2011-06-22 14:23 Pacific). Please tell me this is temporary network glitch and not a sloppy FBI raid! *crosses fingers*

Haha.. no FBI raid (a la DigitalOne yesterday I presume). The colocation facility experienced a power outage. Please see today's post here and on our facebook page. We will update with the root cause as soon as we get clear explanation from the colo facility. If you are experiencing an outage, please open/update your support ticket and we will address it right away. Nearly everything is back to normal.
